Small art thought

Art is vital to the health and progress of society, and as such its access and applications are paramount. But what is art? Art is an attitude, it’s an act. It’s an approach, and it’s also a medium. It’s anything you don’t have to do that contributes to your plasticity of person and mind. It’s employing the senses and feeling your way, perhaps tentatively, possibly head on, past the necessity of meeting needs. It’s saying something or absolutely fucking nothing beyond what is, with as much aesthetic integrity as you please. Can you get paid for it? Sure. Exercise your art however you choose. But don’t be surprised if it ceases to be art, as then it will be something else. That’s ok. It will just mean it’s probably time to do more art, to be an artist, and start again.
